  1. I am sure there may be a better place to post this, but I have to start
  2. somewhere :-).

  4. I am looking for information on the Transport Library Interface (TLI)
  5. specification.  I am not entirely sure exactly what it provides, however,
  6. it was mentioned in the same context as Sockets in Andrew S. Tanenbaum's
  7. book "Computer Networks".  I suspect it is some form Socket-like interface,
  8. but I cannot confirm this.

  10. I would VERY MUCH APPRECIATE if anyone could point me in the right
  11. direction for finding more information on this specification.
